Editorial policy
How content is planned, sourced, fact-checked, published, updated and corrected, and how editorial decisions stay independent from affiliate revenue.
Purpose
This policy describes how pages on this site move from an idea to publication, how they are kept current and how mistakes are fixed. It applies to every market edition.
Independence
Editorial decisions — which platforms to cover, what to say about them and how to order them — are made by the editorial team on the basis of verified facts. Affiliate partners do not review, approve or pay for content, and a partner’s commission rate is never an input to any ranking, tool or wording. Where a platform is paid, the page discloses it next to the link and in the site-wide affiliate disclosure.
Sourcing standard
Factual statements about a platform’s availability, licence status, fees, limits, payment methods, KYC requirements or product range must be supported by an official source: the platform’s own published documentation, the regulator’s public register, or a government publication. Sources are listed on the page with the date of access.
We do not:
- copy or lightly rewrite a platform’s marketing copy and present it as an assessment;
- claim first-hand account experience (deposits, trades, withdrawals, support contact) without primary-research evidence recorded in the sources;
- present estimates, rumours or figures from other comparison sites as facts;
- publish price predictions, token recommendations or “guaranteed” outcomes.
Editorial statuses
Every page carries an internal status: research, drafting, fact-check, legal review, ready, published or update required. Only pages in the ready or published state are indexable by search engines. Drafts may be reachable for review but are excluded from search engines, listings and the sitemap, and carry a visible draft notice.
Unverified data
Where a fact cannot be verified, the page shows “unknown” or “data under review”. Affiliate links stay switched off on any page or profile whose data is under review or out of date.
Updates and re-verification
Each page shows when it was published, last updated and when its data was last verified. Verified data is re-checked on a schedule (see the methodology); pages whose data passes its review date are flagged as needing re-verification until the check is done.
Corrections
Report errors through the contact page with the page URL and a link to the official source. We aim to re-verify and correct material factual errors promptly, update the verification date and note the correction on the page when the change is material. We do not remove or alter published correction notes.
Legal review
Policy pages (privacy, terms, risk warning, affiliate disclosure) are marked as pending until reviewed by qualified counsel for the publisher’s jurisdiction. A notice is shown on those pages until the review is complete.
Scope of advice
Nothing on this site is personal financial, investment, tax or legal advice. Pages describe general information so that readers can make their own enquiries with the provider.
