South Africa crypto exchange data
Every fact behind our South Africa pages as files you can reuse: 7 exchanges,36 fields each, with the official source, verification date and re-check date of every value.
Download
- All exchanges, JSON (one file with field definitions)
- All exchanges, CSV (one row per exchange and field)
One exchange at a time (JSON):
This build: files generated on 7 October 2026; values verified up to 4 October 2026; the earliest re-check date in the files is 3 November 2026.
What the exchanges have changed on their own pages since our first reads, with the dates of the two reads, is in the log of exchange changes.
What the files contain
- Facts only: availability, Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA) licence status and reference, products, trading fees, ZAR deposit and withdrawal rails, USDT networks, KYC and processing times. Referral programmes, offers and our editorial judgements (pros, cons, "beginner friendly") are not included.
- A value is filled in only if the site shows it on the day the files are built: its status is verified or partially verified and it is within its re-check window. Unknown, conflicting, not applicable and out-of-date fields are listed with an empty value and their status, so a gap is never filled with a guess.
- Every value carries
verifiedAt, the officialsourceUrlandstaleFrom, the first day it is past its re-check window (fees and affiliate terms 30 days; payment rails and minimums 45 days; product lists 60 days; availability, licence status and KYC 90 days; editorial judgements such as "beginner friendly" 180 days). The files are static: afterstaleFrom, treat a value as needing a re-check. The file-levelnextTransitionAtis the earliest such date. - How each fact is checked, and what "partially verified" means, is set out in themethodology.
